A Piece for Contrabass Paetzold Recorder (2025)

I wrote this music as an initial encounter, a greeting with this unusual instrument. The composing process was an intimate and calm exploration of the instrument's inherent sonorities and technical features, aiming to initiate a simple, direct and sincere dialogue between the composer and the instrument.
